Fading technique...in out...out in.... well, that's the basic thing we are looking for when seeing gifs that have fading. A very simple thing to do when shown.

Well, I am really sick of storms not only does it kill my internet, it like prohibits me from getting on computer at all! XP I actually have quite a few tutorials to put up. But somehow I got really busy again so I hope to get a few up today (weather permitting).
Anyway, this simple tutorial has to deal with words coming up one at a time. I also have an individual letter one but really they are exactly the same thing. I did something really simple for these upcoming tutorials so forgive my lack of creativity. ^^;
So we start out with our image (using this great look of Naruto's reaction to the Double Sexy Guy Knockout technique).

Welcome to the main event. One of the most interesting and challenging image editing things to do is dealing with animation. The only down fall with Photoshop and ImageReady is that they aren't recording video editing programs so it's hard to take a clip of a show you want to make an avatar. But there is another way to get your movie. It's a little thing I like to call prt sc (or print screen). ;) It should be located by the top right of your key board. What does this little button do? Well, it copies the entire screen. So as an example I just hit the print screen button now to show a picture of my computer screen (this is how I make my tutorials ^_^ ). Current Mood: chipper |

Well, I was on a roll today but because this tutorial is SO huge I might show how to do this later. So you want to make some cool looking stuff aye. Well, it's all about your creative side. Sometimes its natural and sometimes you just got to play with colors, images, effects, until you get something that you like. If you are ready to go, get a pillow for your tush cuz..

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been busy getting some major projects completed and it started to get tired some.
To start I will do a quick tutorial on a common asked tricked that my friends give many complements and "are you sure, I see professionals do that". I call it the B&W color object trick or something like that. ^^;

So since the LJ went down yesterday I had more time going over some of my art pieces and figuring out what I want to do. I figured we do some more advancement with gifs. But first here are some of my pieces I am working on, they are in REALLY REALLY rough stages right now. One would be something I haven't thought about doing until I was rereading my passed Inuyasha chapters and stubbled onto this moment with Inuyasha running around and Gramps being sweet but annoyed. The other as you can see in my default picture is one of my KH manga pics that I colored and I'm going to MUCH more to it then were it was right now. So yeah, I have occupied my time with so much fun.
On to the tutorial!

So I'm dedicating this small entry to backgrounds. There is A LOT to do when it comes to backgrounds. But sometimes when you first start out it can drive you crazy! So I will do a multi-backgrounds to show pretty much how to do not only on plain background but adding more to backgrounds.

I have been a coloring freak trying to get not only my KH manga scanned and colored up but Zelda's OoT as well. I have been going back and forth with each and taking some breaks because coloring can be way too addicting, and when I say addicting I mean you wasted 2 hours on one chapter. So hears a little tutorial for just starting out on basic coloring in photoshop.
First of all, I won't be showing on how to do a whole page just because it takes up space I figured just how to get a picture and background started will be enough. So here is one of my pages from the Kingdom Hearts manga.

So to start my little journal off I will try to talk about how to make a simple Basic Gif. This won't be the most beautiful gif but hey, you got to start somewhere. First you want an idea of a gif, may it be a movie clip, regular images put together as a little slideshow, whatever.

Thanks to some suggestion to Smurfette from the Q9D forum I am tempted to actually post a journal of pieces of artwork/photographs/techniques that I work on from Photoshop/Image Ready etc. Not just to help others searching around the net but to remind myself in "how in the heck did I do that?" later on. So I'm not sure what I will put up first, let's see what I have laying around.
